  Add, Cancel, or Edit a Game or Training

How to add a training or a game (all your regular season games will be put in the system by the club):
  1. Log in as a coach/manager
  2. Click “Admin” in the top right
  3. Under the Scheduling box, click on “Add a Game or Practice” (or “Recurring Games” if you want to add a recurring Game or Practice – instructions for recurring events are a little different but it should be self-explanatory)
  4. Pick the date, start and finish time in the requested format, pick a location, pick a category (training or game), pick your team, add any event notes, then press submit. 
  • All Games and Trainings will send an auto reminder email (with an RSVP feature if you choose to use it) 2 days before an event.
  • All Games and Trainings will send an auto reminder text 2 hours before an event (during sign up you must put your cell phone number in the cell phone box and pick your carrier for this to work)
  
How to cancel a training or a game (all your home games cancelled due to field closure will be cancelled by the club):
 
  1. Log in as a coach/manager
  2. Hover over “Teams” in the top nav, find your team, and click on it
  3. Click on “Schedule” in the left nav
  4. Find the event you want to cancel and click on the orange edit button to the right of the event
  5. Under the "Details" section, change the "Status" drop down box to "Cancelled"
  6. Click "Submit" 
  • If the system is set to the "Live" mode, all coaches, managers, parents, and players will automatically be notified by text and/or email that the game or training is cancelled.

How to edit/change a training or a game (all your home games will be changed by the club secretary with your notification to secretary@hcstorm.org):
 
  1. Log in as a coach/manager
  2. Hover over “Teams” in the top nav, find your team, and click on it
  3. Click on “Schedule” in the left nav
  4. Click on "Include past events" on the top right of the schedule (if you are editing an event that took place before today)
  5. Find the event you want to edit and click on the orange edit button to the right of the event
  6. Edit event date, time, location, category, status or other as necessary
  7. Click "Submit" 
  • If the system is set to the "Live" mode, all coaches, managers, parents, and players will automatically be notified by text and/or email about the change to the game or training.
